The view from the bathroom floor is spectacular if you ignore the sharp pain in your neck. From here, you can watch the procession of identical days stumble by like masked strangers at the grocery store. You haven't seen a full human face in-person since last year, but that's fine, you don't need anyone. You don't need your neighbors, You don't need your coworkers, You don't need your friends, you don't need Mom or Dad, and you certainly don't need someone to call your baby because you are your baby. Thank God you still have yourself... and the calming light of your cell phone.
